Illinois Sash installed over 4,400 Traco windows in this 52 story residential building located in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast with stunning Lake Michigan views. Windows installed included Traco TR-9100 AW rated Single-Hungs with ultra-lift balances and TR-7100 Fixed windows, all with a Dark Bronze Anodized finish. The 1” insulated glass specifications called for a bronze tint exterior and Heat Mirror 75 on the interior. This project also integrated full exterior screen track to allow for window washing without removing the screen.

The Grand Ohio Condominiums | 211 E Ohio St Chicago, IL

Illinois Sash installed over 1800 Traco aluminum windows in this 586 unit condominium building located in the Streeterville neighborhood of downtown Chicago. Windows installed in this occupied residential building included Traco’s AW-rated TR-6800 Horizontal Sliding windows. These windows had a special PPG Duranar Bronze exterior finish and PPG’s Duranar Bone White finish on the interior. The 1” insulated glass makeup consisted of Solarban 60 clear, tempered glass on the exterior and ¼” clear, tempered glass for the interior. Exterior removable dark mesh screens were also included in this project.

Illinois Sash installed over 700 windows in the 26 story 336 Wellington building located in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. Windows installed included the AW-rated TR-7100, TR 9000 with ultra-lift balances on the bottom sash and AW-rated TR-9500 Fixed windows. A clear anodized finish was used on the exterior and interior. The 1" insulated glass consisted of 3/16" clear tempered glass with Solarban 60, argon gas, and 3/16" clear tempered glass on the interior surface. This installation included continuous top & bottom rails, snap locks at the head and sill and fiberglass screens for ventilation.

Illinois Sash installed the windows in this 41 story high rise located along Chicago's Gold Coast overlooking Lake Michigan and Oak Street Beach. Wausau Model #5100 Sliding Glass Patio Doors with tempered glass were used for access to the balconies. Traco TR-3800 Fixed windows and TR 6000 two-lite Horizontal Sliders, TR-3410 Fixed Lite Over Project In Vents with a clear anodized finish were installed in the occupied units. The glass makeup included 1" argon filled, insulated glass units with Low-E Grey glass. An interior trim and clip system was used in this installation.

Illinois Sash installed almost 1000 windows in this historic loft building The TR-9100's, TR-7100's and TR-7902 had a Bronze Duracron finish, Lite Lift Hardware in Satin Chrome. A Receptor & Clip system was used to install. Half screens with fiberglass mesh were included for ventilation.
